The Danish Government stressed that there is need for an intensified economic diplomacy in Africa, to assist the implementation of the necessary structural reforms, to promote green investment and thereby strengthening framework conditions on the continent. They believe that, the initiative will create a growth that is sustainable and self-sustaining.
”The growing need for energy and continued pressure on natural resources in African countries require that governments and private companies work together to ensure that economic growth is sustainable and inclusive” says Trade and European Affairs Minister, Nick Hækkerup.
