There are currently no tuition fees charged at all the Universities in Finland, but tuition fees for International students will be introduced from autum 2017.
The three-party coalition government has concluded that international students must pay a minimum of €1,500 per year to study on any undergraduate or master’s course taught in a language other than Finnish or Swedish from 2017.
According to the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland, the goal of the government proposal is to both advance the institutions’ opportunities for education export and also expand their funding base.
However, PhD students, researchers, students who are already in the country and those who will be admitted in September 2016 will not pay tuition fees.
Afroscandic employs international students, most especially the African students, to utilise the opportunity before it is too late. You can find admission procedures and how to get started HERE.
