According to the Swedish Central Government Authority for Statistics, in 2013 Swedish exports of goods amounted to SEK 94.5 billion, while imports of goods amounted to SEK 90.5 billion. As a result, the net trade balance was SEK 4.0 billion.
Trade with countries outside the EU resulted in a surplus of SEK 14.2 billion, while the EU trade resulted in a deficit of SEK10.2 billion.
Comparing this figure to the year 2012, the value of exports decreased by 5 percent, while imports decreased by 6 percent.
