From the 18th to 20th of November 2014, a business delegation of associates from Ghanaian companies will travel to Denmark to investigate business opportunities within the sectors of renewable energy and environment.
The delegation is the first of its kind and is fully funded by the Ghanaian delegates and through sponsorships from Danish companies. The delegation aims to develop business relations for purchase, trading and sharing of know-how between Ghanaian and Danish companies – now and in the future.
The delegation consists of 21 delegates from 15 Ghanaian companies, 2 representatives from the Commercial Section of the Danish Embassy in Ghana, and a representative from Investment Fund For Developing Countries (IFU).
On the first day, the delegation will visit some Danish companies/business institutions located in Northern Sealand and the Copenhagen area. Amongt these companies are Tandrup Water Solutions, a supplier of safe and cost-effective water solutions.
On the second day, the delegation will be in Jutland to visit Kamstrup, DanSolar, and Grenaa Machine Factory. These companies specialise in water and energy metering, solar energy, and machine concepts for optimising wind energy, respectively.
Vorning Machine Factory, which specialises in construction of semi-automatic production plants, Grundfos and Verdo which produces advanced pump solutions, and retailing of biomass will receive the delegation on the third day.
The business trip will be rounded off with a dinner and presentations by PSS Energy and Avista Oil.
